Christmas Day: - No check-in or check-out is permitted on 25DEC as transfers do not operate on Christmas Day. Transfers to Wilson Island from Heron Island: - The arrival transfer to Wilson Island departs Heron Island at 3:00pm each day. Guests who arrive from Gladstone via the launch to Heron Island (must be booked seperately) have a short turn around to prepare for their next transfer with the assistance of a Guest Liaison. - Guests who wish to arrive on Heron Island via helicopter (must be booked seperately) must arrive no later than 1:30pm Heron Island Time (12:30 E.S.T). This will ensure they have time to meet the Guest Liaison and prepare for their launch transfer to Wilson Island. Does Not Include: - Return transfers from Gladstone to Heron Island are not included. These must be booked separately. Dietary Requirements: - Due to the remote location of Wilson Island, vegetarian options can only be catered for if advance notice is provided. It may not be possible to cater for other special dietary requirements unless this is advised at time of booking. Resort Closure: - Please note Wilson Island is closed each year for the entire month of February for bird nesting. General Information: - All bookings for Wilson Island must provide an email address or phone number for guests. Dietary requirements, beverage preferences or any requests must also be provided. - Heavy luggage can not be taken to Wilson Island. - The island is an eco- resort there are no power points so electrical devices are advised to be left behind in lock up storage. - It is casual wear for guests, during the day only light clothing is needed and maybe just long sleeve shirts and long pants for night. Thongs/Flip Flops or Crocs are recommended for footwear, we provide the guests with reef walking shoes.
