We are situated 200 metres from lake Tinaroo, an area famed for all year round Barramundi fishing as well as water sports. Although we are situated 200 metres from the lake, views of the lake have been obscured by the forest growth which surrounds the property. The nearest boat ramp is approximately 1km (drive) from the property. Tinaroo Haven Holiday lodge is centrally located and consists of a high level pole house (Al¿s look-out) and a timber home (Percy¿s Hide-Away). The two houses, although next door to each other, are separated by a covered walkway and each has their own private entrances, verandahs and entertainment areas. The property has been designed to provide views of the surrounding mountains, and is hidden away in a secluded area of 2.5 acres of native bushland. The accommodation is fully self contained with all amenities and is suitable for single families, couples or large groups. The properties are fully self contained with all amenities which includes Austar with National Geographic, Discovery, News Channels, Sports Channels, Movie Channels and Cartoon Network. Al's Look-out has a DVD player with a large selection of DVD's to choose from. Both properties have a selection of games and books. Both Properties have a BBQ outside the units for your exclusive use. All cutlery, crockery, linen and towels are provided and you will have use of bathrobes and slippers.
The operator/owner does not live on the property and will contact you with a code for a lockbox from which you are retrieve the keys to the property. If you have not heard from the operator please contact them directly for the codes. To secure a booking we will require a deposit equal to 10% of your entire bill. As we do not have a property manager on site the balance of your booking fee is to be paid 3 days prior to your arrival at the property. Payment by way of Visa and Mastercard are accepted. ¿Only the number of guests stated on your invoice have the right to be staying on our property and we reserve the right to charge you for any extra guests found to be staying on our property. After date of this invoice your booking will only be held firm for a period of 3 calendar days. If your deposit is not paid within this 3 calendar day period your booking will be deemed to be cancelled. ¿Check in time is anytime after 14h00 and check out time is anytime before 10h00 unless otherwise agreed to. ¿If the properties are being rented for a specific function i.e a birthday celebration etc we will require your credit card details to be kept on file in case there is any damage or theft to our property. In this instance full replacement value of any damaged or stolen goods will be charged to your credit card. Although you cannot see any neighbouring houses they are there so any loud music is to be turned down by 22h00 hours. A $25.00 cancellation fee will be deducted from your deposit refund in the event of a cancellation. Your deposit excluding the $25.00 cancellation fee will be refunded for a cancellation in the event of a notice of cancellation being received 21 days or more prior to your arrival date. If a cancellation is received less than 21 days prior to the notice of cancellation your deposit will not be refunded unless another booking is received and confirmed for the same period. Gift vouchers are non refundable and not redeemable for cash; gift vouchers carry an expiry date so please check the expiry date on the gift voucher. A full inventory is taken between guests at the time of the Units being cleaned. In the event of damage or theft being discovered at this time the full value of any of Tinaroo Haven Holiday Lodges property either damaged or missing will be claimed from you. ¿In the event of professional cleaning services being required due to extra-ordinary cleaning being required as a result of your negligence the costs of such services will be claimed from you this will include steam cleaning of curtains linen or furniture or polishing of the interior timber floors etc. If red wine is spilt on our bedding furniture or bathrobes we will communicate this to you and will attempt to remove the stains. If we are unsuccessful in removing the stains you will be charged at the current cost of replacing the item. There are 4 red claw pots hanging outside Percy¿s for your use. Please note that if at the time of cleaning the unit after your departure there are missing red claw pots we will charge you a $25.00 replacement fee per missing pot. We would ask that you treat our accommodation and its contents with due respect in order that our next guests may also enjoy the comfort and pleasures which we have provided. This includes leaving the accommodation in a neat and tidy state when you depart. ¿Please do not park any vehicles on the grassed areas of our garden. Payment of the requested deposit shall be taken as your agreement that you have read and agreed to the above terms.
Upon leaving the airport, proceed to the main road (Capt. Cook Hwy) and turn right, following the highway until you get to the Smithfield Shopping Complex, which is at the roundabout after the Skyrail terminal. Take the Kuranda turnoff at the roundabout. There is a Supermarket complex at this roundabout if you care to do any grocery shopping. Follow the highway up the range towards Mareeba. Just as you come into Mareeba, the highway splits. Take the Left hand fork and head toward Atherton. In approximately 24 kms, you will come to the little township of Tolga. As you enter Tolga, you will see the Tolga Woodworks on your Right. About 500 metres after the woodworks, you will come to a crossroads. Turn Left, following the signs to Kairi and Tinaroo Dam. When you reach the 'T' intersection on the outskirts of Kairi, go past the Kairi Hotel and store. After you pass the school the road continues around to the left and is signposted to Tinaroo Dam. This is the start of a long straight. Proceed about 2.5 km along that straight. When you reach the top of the hill at the end of the straight, turn right into Malcolm Road. Off Malcolm Road, you will find Bluewater Drive; turn left into Blue Water Drive. Towards the bottom of Bluewater Drive you will see, Wavell Drive. Turn left into Wavell Drive. Tinaroo Haven Holiday Lodge¿s driveway is straight in front of you at the end of Wavell Drive ¿ Number 42. When you have entered the main gates, proceed straight up the driveway and and past the caretakers house (don¿t take the first left turn you come to) and park under or in front of Tinaroo Haven Holiday lodge.

Als Look-out is a centrally located high level pole house constructed using local regional timbers, which are featured throughout the lodge interior and exterior. It is designed to provide views of the surrounding mountains, and is hidden away in the treetops in a secluded area on 2.5 acres of native bushland. The nearest boat ramp is approximately 1km from the property. The accommodation is fully self contained with all amenities which include 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Extra people are accommodated on the double sofa/bed in the lounge area. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. The lodge can accommodate up to 6 adults or 4 adults and 4 children.

Percys Hide-away is a centrally located timber cottage. It is designed to provide views of the surrounding mountains, and is hidden away amongst trees on 2.5 acres of native bushland. The nearest boat ramp is approximately 1km from the property. The accommodation is fully self contained with all amenities which include 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 4 bunkbeds, 1 bathroom with bath and large shower and separate toilet. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. Percys Hide-away can accommodate up to 6 people.
