Rates are mostly quoted as single, twin or double share, covering up to two (2) people per room. Extra adults incurr an additional charge.

Winter Sports include downhill snow skiing and boarding, snow shoe tours and cross country ski touring.

Summer activities include: Hiking to the top of Australia and many other walks, Scenic Chairlift rides, Bobsled, Golf on Australia's highest course, Tennis, Mountain biking, White water rafting, horse riding, Fly fishing and much more.

Thredbo has a great selection of bars and restaurants, the hotel is in the middle of all the action.

Driving: Thredbo is around five hours' drive from Sydney or Melbourne, and most of the drive is on dual carriage highway. The Kosciuszko Alpine Way between Thredbo and Jindabyne is clear of snow at most times during winter, so it is easily accessed by two wheel drive vehicle. Depending on conditions, every now and then snow chains may be required. These can be hired from most service stations in Jindabyne and Cooma.

Flying: Regional Express (REX) Airlines operate a service from Sydney to Snowy Mountains Airport (Cooma), which is located one hour's drive from Thredbo. Most airlines also service Canberra Airport from major Australian cities. Canberra Airport is two and a half hours from Thredbo. Shuttle transfers to and from both airports can be arranged, and major car hire companies also operate from Canberra.
