The Observatory, Port Macquarie is a multi- award winning resort. Most recently, winner of the 2007 Mid North Coast Tourism Awards for Business Excellence for Deluxe Accommodation. Situated directly opposite picturesque Town Beach and only a short riverside stroll to the Town Centre.

Undercover security parking. Parking is free.

Check-in is from 2:00pm. Reception hours are between 8.00am and 7.00pm (9.00am Sunday). Front door intercom for after hours. If you think you may arrive after 7.00pm please let us know so that we can make "after hours" check in arrangements.

Sofa beds available in 2 Bedroom Terraces and most 1 Bedroom Tower apartments. In our apartments, foldaway beds are available for children under 12 and port-a-cots for babies. All of these are an additional charge of $10.00 per night.

Visit Port Macquarie's spectacular beaches. Nearby to The Observatory foreshore walkways meander along the beaches and wetlands filled with natural wildlife beg to be explored. Go for a leisurely drive along leafy country roads and visit the many picturesque neighbouring towns. Visit the local wineries and sample their wonderful wines or take a boat cruise down the Hastings River. For the kids, visit the Billabong Koala and Wildlife park or step back in time at Timbertown.
