The Elandra Mission Beach is a boutique resort which houses 55 creatively designed rooms. It is nestled in amongst lush tropical rainforest, interlinked by elevated boardwalks and contains a fine dining restaurant, glamorous cocktail bar, chill out lounge areas, conference facilities and an alluring swimming pool.

The stylish Resort features a tennis court, chic boutique, in room massage, National Park walking track, private dining room and just in case you need more reasons to relax, the pool deck also offers private day-beds and oversized sun lounges.

Rooms are decorated with a style uniquely their own-eclectic pieces, artifacts and splashes of tribal colour. For ultimate comfort, most rooms contain a king bed, all with air conditioning, ceiling fan, LCD flat screen television, in house movies / austar, mini bar, clothes iron, hairdryer and treasure chest completed with white timber-look flooring, artwork and cushions.

Our Conference Rooms

Panorama Room. Our main conference room is situated away from the main resort complex for total privacy and seclusion. Perched on the Point, looking out towards the Coral Sea and Bedarra Island the view is breathtaking. This room has full air-conditioning, opening bi-fold doors, own toilets, AV Equipment, and can be themed to the occasion.

Pavilion. This stunning location is ideal for breakaway dining areas or smaller groups during conferences. Bi-folding doors give the sense of sitting in the midst of the rainforest. Perfect for stand up post conference cocktail parties and a different atmosphere from the main conference room.

Meeting Room. The meeting room can hold up to 20 people and is positioned next to the pool deck. An ideal backdrop with rainforest and sea views.

Parking is Free of Charge at The Elandra. There is no undercover parking.

Please check-in at the reception desk in the foyer area of the resort.

Children and Extra guests are permitted in selected room types only and at an additional fee.

Driving Directions from the Airport

If you are heading from the south, turn right off the Bruce Highway just north of Tully and it is approximately 26km to Mission Beach. If you are heading from the north then turn left off the Bruce Highway in El Arish and it is approximately 16km to Mission Beach. Follow signage to South Mission and follow Kennedy Esplanade, turn right at Jacky Jacky St, left at Mitchell then follow the road as it turns into Explorer Drive. The Elandra is situated at the top of Explorer Drive.
