Stonewell Cottages & Vineyards, a boutique waterfront vineyard retreat offers peace and privacy, seclusion and space in the heart of the Barossa, just 60 minutes from Adelaide. Enjoy serene water views, still tranquil evenings and stunning vineyard sunsets. The three waterfront vineyard cottages feature cosy wood fires, comfy king beds and luxury candlelit spas.

The Haven Spa Retreats, the Hideaway Cottage and Cupid's Cottage are hidden away amongst the vines of Stonewell Vineyards, our 103 acre (42ha) vineyard property, overlooking a picturesque, private lake. Just a short drive from Tanunda, it is a tranquil world away from stress and hectic schedules, the ideal place to escape and rejuvenate.

Sleep amid the vines, wake up to a long, lazy breakfast to the serenade of the birds. Unwind in your candlelit spa, de-stress with an indulgent in-room massage. Feed the friendly ducks, take a row to the island gazebo, throw in a fishing line, enjoy a picnic in the summer house, or take a bike ride along the vine lined country roads. Dine alfresco in your private garden courtyard with a gourmet regional food platter delivered to your cottage. WEEKEND BOOKINGS: All weekends - Sat nt must be booked as a 2nt stay with either Fri or Sun nts. Long weekends - a min 3nt stay is required.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Canx notified more than 30 days prior to arrival date will be entitled to a refund of money paid less a $50 fee. Canx notified 30 days or less prior to arrival date will forfeit the full amount paid. When a bkg has been made 30 days or less prior to arrival date & canx the full amount paid will be forfeited. If you do not arrive and/or stay for the entire number of nts that have been booked no refund will be given. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for protection against unforeseen canx of travel. EXTRA OCCUPANCY: Hideaway - use of both bedrooms for 1 couple or 2 single people, a $25/nt surcharge applies. 2, 3 & 4 person rates apply - must be bkd, paid for accordingly. No extra beds available in any of the cottages/retreats. Use of the cottage/grounds is for number of bkd & paying guests only. PETS: strictly NOT permitted

EXCESS CLEANING & DAMAGES: Smoking outdoors only. Min $50 cleaning surcharge if guests smoke inside. Guests must leave cottage tidy & in respectable condition. If extra cleaning is necessary, min $50 will apply. Any breakages, damages to goods/property guest must pay for on departure. Wood fires not in use during fire ban season 1 Nov - 30 Apr

Please note - There is no onsite reception. Owners do not live onsite. There are no land-line phones in the cottages. We recommend you bring your mobile/cell phone. This is a self-contained, self-catering property.

By special request children can be accommodated in Hideaway only. Infants <2yrs @ $25/nt (cot provided) Children 2-12yrs @ full adult rate. Visitors of paying guests are strictly not permitted to bring their children on site.

Property is centrally located in the Barossa, on Stonewell Rd, 3km from Tanunda. 75 km from Adelaide. Download map www.stonewellcottages.com.au DIRECTIONS FROM ADELAIDE (via Sturt Highway) Take Main North Road from the city. As you approach Gawler, continue straight ahead to the Barossa Valley follow signs: Barossa Valley Nuriootpa, Sturt Highway. (do not veer left into Gawler) Continue for approx. 14km from Gawler, turn right onto Gomersal Rd (watch for large green sign: Gomersal Rd, Tanunda) After approx. 14km, you will approach Tanunda at the end of Gomersal Rd. Turn left at the T-junction, which will take you to the main street of Tanunda, Murray St. DIRECTIONS FROM TANUNDA After turning onto Murray St, continue along the main street for 1.5km. Next turn left onto Elizabeth St (which is just before the rotunda). After the public swimming pool, turn right onto Langmeil Rd. Next turn left over the bridge onto Smyth Rd. At the end of Smyth Rd at T-junction, turn right onto Stonewell Rd. Continue 1km on Stonewell Rd - on right you will see a large blue sign with Stonewell Cottages sliver diamond logo & stone entranceway - this is the entrance for Haven Spa Retreats & Hideaway. The Haven Spa Retreats is the first cottage -for Haven Spa Retreat 1, parking & entrance is on the left-hand side; Haven Spa Retreat 2, is on the right-hand side. The Hideaway is the second cottage, closest to the water. For Cupids, continue further along Stonewell Rd, past the main entrance, take the next rd to the right - Mattiske Rd. Driveway is 400m down this road on the right. Watch for small blue sign & stone entranceway.
