It¿s only a 25 minute drive to Byron Bay via Lennox Head and the Hinterland.

Ballina has its own airport (Ballina Byron Gateway)with direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne.

The Slipway Hotel has a great atmosphere with full Hotel facilities. Try a meal from the Slipway Bistro, or enjoy live entertainment every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

The rate is non-refundable and cannot be changed or cancelled. If you choose to change or cancel this booking you will not be refunded any of the payment.

Minimum 5 days (all) - this property require any cancellation or date change to be made at least 5 days prior to your check in date to avoid forfeiting the full amount of the booking.

Off-street parking is available at the front of units and to the side of the motel. There is no charge for parking. Large vehicle parking is available.(Trucks, Caravans and trailers)

Please park your car at the rear of the Hotel, then proceed to the Sportsman's Bar to check in. If you wish to check in after 8pm, please contact us prior to arrival for arrangements.

Ballina is known for its sea and river fishing and many water sports. The Ballina Golf Course is 2km away and we are located in the central shopping centre. Take time to explore the hinterland rainforests and rural towns. Local markets and local art is in abundance. Try skydiving, river boat trips, horse riding on the beach, kayaking tours, The Macadamia Castle with petting zoo, surf school, hydro sliding at the pools, ten pin bowling, cinemas and many more activities all handy to Slipway Hotel.

From the North

Enter Ballina on the Pacific Highway; turn right at the first set of traffic lights to continue along the Pacific Highway (follow signs for the highway and/or for Ballina). Continue along highway for approximately one to two minutes; turn left at the third set of traffic lights onto River Street. Continue along River Street for approximately one to two minutes and turn right into Fawcett Lane. Park at the rear of the Hotel and proceed to the Sportsman's Bar for Check In.

From the South

Enter Ballina from the Pacific Highway, pass the Big Prawn on the left and continue along highway until it becomes River Street. Continue along River Street for approximately one to two minutes then turn right into Fawcett Lane. Park at the rear of the Hotel and proceed to the Sportsman's Bar for Check In.
