Sacred Mountain Retreat is a secret paradise located half way between Sydney & Brisbane / Byron Bay, on the North Coast of N.S.W. (Australias East Coast)
Elevated 200 meters on the eastern ridge of Sacred Mountain, luxurious & secluded cottages overlook spectacular scenery in a 270o panorama.
A vast expanse of ocean, coastal towns, mountains, rivers and rolling valleys can all be viewed from your private deck, and you are only minutes to miles of beautiful, pristine beaches.
Architecturally designed cottages of stone & glass are tastefully fitted with exotic fabrics & hand made furnishings. Spectacular views are guaranteed from every window in every direction.
TV, CD Player & DVD Player are provided as well as a selection of DVD movies. Quality teas & ground coffee are also supplied and lavish breakfasts are served daily.
Watch whales on their migration from your breakfast table. Whale watching from May to October.
Guests can enjoy fresh garden produce for self catering. Seasonal tropical fruits are grown here organically for your enjoyment. Relaxation packages are available including Full body massage and our `Romance¿ package is a favourite with a sumptuous SeaFood Platter for 2. Home cooked meals can be arranged by request.

At the gorgeous coastal town of Valla, just North of Nambucca Heads and 15 mins. to Bellingen, we are only 2 km's off the Pacific Hwy, so are very handy for the road traveller between capital cities, and close to the Coffs Harbour Regional Airport. Transfers can be arranged.

Custom booking conditions
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
Bookings are confirmed and secured only on receipt of a deposit. Dates are removed from online availability once a deposit is received. A 20% deposit is required, and booking deposits by credit card are confirmed instantly. All credit card transactions will incur an administration fee of 2% and no less than $5.00.
In the event of cancellation, 7 days notice is required.
(14 days in high season & for long weekends)
If sufficient notice is given, deposits will be refunded, less an administrative charge of $30 per booking. Credit cards will be processed for the cancellation fee ($30)
If notification is received in less that the required time, a minimum of (1) one nights accommodation or up to the full tariff for the total booking will be charged.
Short notice Amendments (cancellations/re-bookings) are charged a $30 administration fee.
Business Facilities
We are a retreat and do not offer business facilities. We can however organise access to broadband for collection of email etc.

On site parking at each cottage. max. 2 cars.
Check In Instructions
Check in time 2:00pm You will be met on site. Earlier checkin by arrangement subject to availability. We offer a late check out of 12;00pm but later by arrangement subject to availability. Please advise if your arrival will be more than 1 hour later than your ETA

Children and Extra Guests Details
Children are welcome but must be closely supervised as Sacred Mountain is privilaged to a unique but rugged terrain!
Extra guest charge is $40 per person per night. There is no charge for infants confined to a cot. The $40 extra guest charge applies to toddlers.
Please be advised that charges will apply to cover damages in certain instances.

Traveling South
Traveling along the Pacific Hwy, you will cross the Kalang River at URUNGA (Visitor Information Centre on right). From this point you are exactly 10 km to BURKES LANE, VALLA.
As you enter VALLA there is a large sign that reads ¿ NAMBUCCA VALLEY / Discover it¿..Love it¿..¿
BURKES LANE is directly opposite this sign on your right.
Follow Burkes Lane to the gates of ¿SACRED MOUNTAIN RETREAT¿
Traveling North
Traveling along the Pacific Hwy, you will pass through NAMBUCCA HEADS (KFC on left at Plaza). Continue 7 kms to Burkes Lane, VALLA. (On Left, 800 meters past the Valla Beach Rd turn off ).
Follow BURKES LANE to the gates of SACRED MOUNTAIN RETREAT.
