The cottage has been carefully restored to a quality standard with all of todays comforts in mind while preserving its original charm and character. There are three bedrooms to choose from, each with ensuite. There is a charming sitting room and kitchen/dining room to share with other guests. An expansive decking lies along the back, overlooking the river. A continental breakfast is available at your leisure to enjoy with the company of others in the dining area, taken quietly in the coffee nook, or taken on a tray back to the privacy of your room. Feel free to make use of the tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchen. In the cosy sitting room you will find a copy of the written memoirs of the founder of the property. Relax on the snug sofas as you read, or just soak up the atmosphere. Photos of Thomas Buckingham Jnr and his family members adorn the walls. Memorabilia from a bygone era is to be found throughout the cottage. You may choose to take a leisurely stroll around the beautiful four acre property. Cross the foot bridges and discover a little wonderland. A meandering walkway follows the leafy shaded river. Sit by the tumbling waters and quietly reflect on life. As you wander up from the river you may choose to pass under the fruit and nut trees. Perhaps you may pause to pick some of the in season fruit or nuts to enjoy while they still hold the blush from the sun. Relax on the decking and enjoy the balmy evenings. Sip on your wine, tea, coffee, or whatever your tipple while you watch the changing colours as the sun sinks behind the hill.

A deposit of 1 nights accommodation or 20% of the total booking (if the booking is for 7 days of more) is required to confirm the booking. If cancellation is made within 7 days prior to the arrival date the deposit is not refunded.
