Pacific Sands has 38 apartments. Only metres from Holloways Beach... nestled in secluded tropical landscaped gardens... perfectly capturing the relaxed ambience of Tropical North Queensland, At the front we have the beautiful Coral Sea and to the rear we are overlooked by mountains covered in Tropical Rainforests, yet we are only 10 minutes from the bustling Cairns city centre. Close by we have many of the attractions that entice visitors from all over Australia and overseas (Reef trips, Rainforests, golf courses, calm water cruises, waterfalls, lakes, white water rafting, cable skiing, scenic tours and so much more). We are serviced by local bus and tour operators.

Our apartments are all self contained and have the following:

Air conditioned, a fully self contained kitchen, full size oven & refrigerator, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, lounge/dining room, 2 bedrooms, the main with a queen size bed, the other has 2 single beds, some units also have a bed settee in the lounge, the bathroom has a shower as well as a washing machine and clothes dryer, outside we have either a balcony or patio set in tropical gardens.

Each apartment has a telephone point enabling a modem connection, plus we have wireless broadband available on a pay as you use basis. A fax and copy service is also available at reception.

Our apartments have 1 off-street allocated undercover carpark for each apartment.

Our tariff's are based on 2 guests. For extra guests add $15.00 per person per night.

All of our apartments have 2 bedrooms, and comfortably sleep 4 adults.

Some of our apartments have a sofa bed, we also have some foldaway beds and a cot.

Maximum occupancy is 4 adults and 2 children.

Holloways beach is a peaceful location, yet it is only a 10 minute drive to Cairns.

Pacific Sands is centrally located for all the activities of the region... dive the Great Barrier Reef, visit one of our tropical Islands, explore the World Heritage Rainforests, take the Skyrail up to Kuranda (the village in the rainforest) and return by Senic Rail. Visit some of our stunning waterfalls or say Gday to a croc or two. Take the coast road to Port Douglas with its magnificent views across the Coral Sea, then carry on to Mossman Gorge and the Daintree.

For the more adventurous there is white water rafting, Bunjy jumping, parachuting, cable skiing, micro light flying.

This region really does bring to mind the phrase "Queensland, beautiful one day, perfect the next".

We have a tour desk at reception where we can advise you on all the activities this unique region has to offer. Your bookings can all be made for you at no extra charge to yourself. We can also organise car hire should you require it.

All tours pick up and drop off at Pacific Sands.

Close to the International airport. Head North along the Captain Cook Highway until you reach the Holloways Beach roundabout. Turn right and follow the road until you reach a smaller roundabout. Go straight across and follow the road till you reach a small group of shops. Poinciana St is on the right.
