Oyster Cove Chalet is self-contained luxury accommodation just 25 minutes south of Hobart. Our position is situated on the D'Entrecasteaux Channel between the townships of Snug and Kettering, (gateway to Bruny Island), and within easy access to the Huon trail.

We have three units with spas and everything one would expect from a four star development. As self contained units, cooking facilities are available in all units and breakfast is included in the tariff. The establishment is licensed, giving our clients the ability to buy alcohol from the mini-bar and office. Our fourth unit is a twin and is suitable for our disabled clients and has all the same facilities except for the spa.

Business guests can make use of our business facilities such as Fax, Internet access, phones.

We have off road parking for all vehicles and free to our guests.

Check in is 2pm and check out is at 10am.

We are a couples only and an adult retreat. Extra guests cannot be accomodated in the same unit.

Bruny Island is just 5 minutes to the ferry terminal. Bruny Islands Charters leave from Kettering an is just 5 minutes away also. Hobart with its many attractions are well with easy distance of the complex.We are centrally located within easy access to the Huon Valley, Hastings Caves and Tahune Air Walk. Southern Tasmania¿s other premiere tourist attractions such as Port Arthur, Mt Field National Park and Lake Pedder, are just a day¿s touring from the complex. We have full tourist information and are available for helpfull advise.

Oyster Cove Chalet is just 35 kilometres and 25 minutes from central Hobart. Directions as follows: Head south out of central Hobart along Davey street to the SOUTHERN OUTLET a distance of 10km through to the suburb of Kingston. Traveling through Kingston, Continue in the same southerly direction along the B68 and after the "KFC" roundabout onto the now named, CHANNEL HWY (B68). From the roundabout, the distance is about 17.2km traveling through the small towns of Margate & Snug before a left turn at MANUKA RD in OYSTER COVE. We are number 42 Manuka Road & the sign is clearly marked. Look out for the Blue and yellow road signs on the B68 just before you reach Manuka Road.
