OCEAN VIEW COTTAGE has a great location set up above the street, yet so close to the surfing beach. Quiet and private, it is perfect for a relaxing holiday with your family and/or pets (by arrangement.) There are generous living and dining areas, 2 bedrooms and a large balcony, complete with BBQ, where you can relax watching the changing light over ocean, beach and sky. Accommodation is all on the upper level of the renovated but older-style house, which has level access to the fully fenced rear garden and an outside shower for washing off salt and sand, while our part-time manager sometimes uses the small completely separate flat underneath. As well as the main surfing beach, there's a leash-free beach for dogs, so you can book a holiday with the whole family, but please check with us before you bring your pets. Emerald Beach is a small village with two great restaurants, a pizzeria (great for the kids), general store, hairdresser, video store and bottle shop. Supermarkets and larger shops are close by at Woolgoolga and Moonee, while Coffs Harbour is about 20km south. Award-winning Saltwater Cafe and Restaurant is a moment away, and has been recommended by the Good Food Guide for several years ("...a relaxed and stylish vibe..."). They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (great for coffee). Open Wed - Sun. Emerald beach is between Coffs Harbour and Woolgoolga (it is about 20kms north of Coffs, along the Pacific Highway).
