Mungumby Lodge is family owned and operated boutique lodge and is Cooktown's only rainforest lodge accommodation. It is situated on a private wilderness estate on the northern edge of the majestic million hectare Australia's Tropical Rainforest National Park. The lodge presides over the waters of the timeless Mungumby creek. Set in tropical gardens, the private bungalows, main homestead and pool offer complete privacy. Native wildlife abounds in and around the lodge landscape.

A minimum cancellation fee of $110.00 will be charged if you cancel your booking, in addition to any fees imposed by the Supplier, which may be up to 100% of monies paid. Accommodation Supplier's Cancellation Conditions: Accommodation valid for 01APR09-31MAR10: - 1 night cancellation fee will be charged for bookings cancelled 48 hours or less prior to travel or in the in the event of a no-show. Accommodation valid for 01APR10-31MAR11: - 1 night cancellation fee will be charged for bookings cancelled 48 hours prior to travel. - No refund applies for bookings cancelled 24 hours prior to travel or in the in the event of a no-show. Flights and Packages valid for 01APR09-31MAR11: - No refund if cancelled 30 days or less prior to travel or in the case of a no show. Date amendments will incur a non-refundable AUD35.00 administration fee.

From Cairns or Port Douglas travel north on the Mulligan Highway. Property is sign posted along the highway.
