We are the closest Motel to the West Leagues Club and offer a courtesy drop off and pick up service to the Club for your convenience.

Parking in front of the Unit. With extra room for trailers or boats, and ample area to turn around.

Check in is from 2.00pm but arrangements made prior to arrival may allow for early check in

Children and extra guests are most welcome, we have two family rooms which can accomodate up to 4 people.

Tamworth is the centre of country music. A quick drive from the Motel Grande will have you admiring the Golden Guitar, Gallery of Stars Wax Museum or maybe you would like to "Walk the country mile" interactive display at the Tamworth Visitor information centre. There are also heritage walks and heritage drives around Tamworth. There are more than 30 restaurants as well as 3 registered clubs for those that like the pokies.

There are also wineries in the surrounding districts, or maybe you would like to visit the Power station museum - Tamworth was the first town in NSW to have electric lights!

If travelling from Sydney, continue towards the city centre, we are 1.1 kms past the turnoff of to Armidale/Brisbane. Motel Grande is on the left hand side, look for the palm trees and blue and white sign. Approximately 200 metres from Bridge Street intersection.

If travelling from Brisbane drive through the centre of town and turn left on to Bridge Street, go over the bridge and at the next set of traffic lights turn left. We are on the right hand side just passed the curve in the road. Approx 200 metres from the intersection. Look for the palm trees and the blue and white sign. You will have to do a U turn at the island.
