Mallacoota Motor Inn is a two story complex offering Panoramic views over the Mallacoota Bottom Lake where guests can relax and gaze over the lake from their spacious room. Mallacoota Motor Inn has tastefully decorated rooms and can be base to explore the Croajingolong National Parks and the Wilderness Coast. Not to mention the extraordinary lakes for boating and fishing. The grounds have been thoughtfully landscaped with cosy areas around the property providing you with that little luxury while you stay with us. There is a covered BBQ area with lounge chairs to enjoy the sun and a swing set for the kids to play.
Mallacoota Motor Inn offers accommodation with Queen size beds, comfortable seating areas and self-contained kitchenette. Select one queen and one single bed or alternatively, one queen and two single bunk beds all rooms offer a sofa lounge for that extra special little person. We have accommodation in rooms on the ground floor and the second floor. Lake views available on availability only. Mallacoota is surrounded by the Croajingolong National Park, lakes and beaches. Enjoy bird watching, bushwalking, water sports including boating, lakes cruises, fishing, surfing, and swimming.
There are many magnificent areas around the Mallacoota Inlet. A number of picnic facilities are located in the Top and Bottom lakes, some are only accessible by boat.
Free gas BBQ¿s are provided at Gravelly Point, Captain Creek and Cape horn. For the water lovers who enjoy fishing, boating or surfing, there are some great opportunities to explore the beaches that surround Mallacoota. If you like snorkelling, then take a swim around the rocks around Bastion Point and Quarry beach which are home for a large number marine creatures that will keep you entertained for some time. And for the serious fishers: The main species caught by the lake fishers are flathead. Other fish being caught include luderick, black bream, silver trevally, southern garfish, tailor, sea mullet and King George whiting.
Mallacoota is situated approx halfway between Melbourne and Sydney turn off is at Genoa on the Princes Highway. The Motel is situated on the left side of Maurice ave just after the second 60 km/hr sign on as you enter town.
