Maiden¿s Inn Holiday Park is truly one of Echuca Moama's Premier Holiday Parks. Echuca is 210 kilometres (2.5 hours) north of Melbourne along the Hume and Northern highways via the ring road and Craigieburn bypass.
Maiden's Inn is located on the banks of the Murray River and close to the historic Port of Echuca. The twin towns of Echuca-Moama offer a diverse range of activities and year round events to entertain holiday makers of all ages.
The Echuca-Moama calendar starts with the Southern 80 water-ski race in February and is followed by the Riverboats, Jazz, Food and Wine weekend. The popular Steam, Horse and Vintage Rally is on the Queen's Birthday weekend in June. The Winter Blues Festival features in July and a Heritage Steam Festival in the Port of Echuca runs the first weekend in October.
A cruise on one of the port's authentic paddle-steamers is a must. The sound of redgum paddles churning through the water is mesmerising, the steam wafting on the breeze and the majestic river gums lining the banks transports you back to a bygone era.
Maiden's Inn boasts a unique history. In 1845 James Maiden, an ex-British convict who became a wealthy, self-made cattle dealer, established a river crossing over the Murray and built a slab hut which was known as Maiden's Inn. In 1846 the hut was replaced by a magnificent two story building boasting 22 rooms and licenced as the "Junction Inn". During the 1870's the Inn was renamed the "Royal Hotel". In 1879 the hotel was delicenced and became a private residence. In 1937, the residence was destroyed by fire. The impressive pillars of the residence survived the inferno and are located the entrance to Maiden's Inn holiday Park.
Today Maiden's Inn offers a variety of holiday accommodation options from Caravan and Camping Sites through to Deluxe Spa Villas.

Plenty to do in Echuca/ Moama.
We have a boat ramp located within our park. Games room with game machines and table tennis, movie room, 2 lagoon style resort pools. Children activities over Christmas holidays. Flood lit tennis court & wonderful grounds for all activities.
Travel Directions
On crossing the border bridge from Echuca into Moama, turn immediately right over the railway line in front of the Moama Bowling Club. Proceed past the Bowling Club until you appraoch the roundabout. Go around the roundabout and left into Chanter Street and continue on for 1.7 kms. Turn right into Deniliquin Street to the entrance to Maiden's Inn Holiday Park, 100 Chanter Street, Moama.
