Two cottages built to the same design and standard surrounded by 10 acres of mountain-top gardens and forest. The view from each cottage is magnificent. The highest standards of accommodation compliment the beautiful and natural surroundings. Wood fire and spa in each cottage plus reverse cycle air-conditioning.

Please print these directions and arrival instructions to bring with you. If you use GPS to arrive please note that some GPS maps are not accurate. We suggest using these directions in conjunction with your GPS.

From Healesville turn right into Don Rd then drive 9kms until you reach the first Lyrebird Cottages sign, turn right here into Nyora Rd. Continue to the end of Nyora Rd and turn right into Moora Rd. The second Lyrebird Cottages sign is here. From here it is 1km. Our property is on the right hand side of the road where the road plunges steeply downhill. There are two entrances to our property. Turn into the second driveway and park by the wall. If you are staying in Silver Wattle Cottage you will find a bell by the door. Give it a ring and we will come and greet you. If you are staying in Mountain Ash Cottage please press the button inside the cottage to alert us to your arrival. We look forward to meeting you!

Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Cancellations more than 21 days ahead receive a full refund less $20 fee. If you cancel within 21 days of your stay we will try to rebook the cottage. If this is not possible the deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel within 7 days you may be charged 100%. No shows will be charged 100%. On arrival the balance of your payment will be charged to your credit card, or payment can be made by cash or eftpos if preferred.

Where your use of the property results in damage requiring replacement, repair or unscheduled maintenance you will be liable for costs incurred. Charges may be made to your credit account.

Each cottage has off street parking adjacent to the cottages.

If you are staying in Silver Wattle Cottage you will find a bell by the door. Give it a ring and we will come and greet you.

If you are staying in Mountain Ash Cottage please use the intercom telephone which you will find inside on the kitchen bench. We look forward to meeting you!

Extra adult $50 per night. Each cottage accommodates a maximum of three adults.

One child $40. Baby in cot, no charge if providing own portacot. Portacot available for $20

From Healesville

Coming into Healesville from Melbourne continue through the town centre and turn right into Don road (the large building of Giant Steps winery is on this corner)

From here travel 9kms along Don road then turn right into Nyora Rd. The first Lyrebird Cottages sign is at this corner.

Follow Nyora Rd to the top and turn right into Moora Rd. The second Lyrebird Cottages sign is at this corner. Lyrebird Cottages is 1km from here. We are on the right hand side of the road where the road plunges steeply downhill. There are two entrances to our property. Turn into the second driveway and park by the wall.

From the Airport

Head south on the Tullamarine Freeway and take the Western Ring Road (M80) east to Greensborough. Take the Greensborough by-pass to Diamond Creek. After Diamond Creek turn right onto the Kangaroo Ground ¿ Wattle Glen Road.

At the T-Junction turn right and immediately left onto the Eltham ¿ Yarra Glen Road. At Yarra Glen, turn right onto the Melba Highway and then left on to the Healesville ¿ Yarra Glen Road. In Healesville, turn left onto the Maroondah Highway and proceed as above.
