Just across the road from Lindenwarrah a leisurely walk takes you to their Cellar Door where you can be guided through their extensive range of unique varietal and limited release wines, many of which are unavailable elsewhere.

MILAWA MUSTARDS

A short stroll or cycle down the lane to the Milawa village, a taste fest awaits at Milawa Mustards, the Region¿s Condiment Centre on the Snow Road. Mustards, chutneys, pickles, salad dressings, vinegars, jams, jellies all handmade from home grown ingredients by Anna and David Bienvenu, on the premises.

MILAWA CHEESE FACTORY AND BAKERY

Soak up some local culture where the cheese is handmade daily. Try award-winning goats and sheep¿s milk Milawa Cheese, along with artisan breads baked daily with passion. A reputation as one of the best specialty cheese companies in the country, was confirmed when the Milawa Cheese Company¿s King River Gold was awarded champion cheese at the 2002 Australian Specialty Cheesemakers Show.

BLUE OX BLUEBERRY FARM

Just a few kilometres down the Snow Road is the picturesque village of Oxley, home to Blue Ox Blueberry Farm. Pick from 11 varieties of blueberries straight from the bushes between December ¿ February or be surprised by the full flavour of the frozen berries available all year round. You can take home some Blue-Ox specialities of quality jams, chutneys and sauces.

Framed by mountains, valleys and rivers the location lends itself to outdoor pursuits such as skiiing, fishing and bush walking, but with the comfort of a roaring log fire and fine glass of wine to return to.

- Travel along the Hume Highway from Melbourne towards Wodonga / Sydney. (Milawa is approximately 2½ hrs from Melbourne)

-Continue past the Benalla turn off for a further 30 km¿s where you¿ll pass McDonald¿s then turn off at next exit for ¿MILAWA GOURMET REGION¿ (signage indicates this) ¿ Highway number C522.

-At exit bridge, turn right and follow Snow Road approximately 9 km¿s where you¿ll come to a cross road. Please continue through for a further 6 km¿s

(you¿ll go through a town called Oxley) where you¿ll soon come to Milawa

- At the Milawa cross roads please turn right at Bobinawarrah Road where signage indicates Brown Brothers Winery. You will then see Lindenwarrah Country House Hotel on your left hand side.
