The caravan park lies on the shore of Lake King at Eagle Point, in the centre of the Mitchell River and Silt Jetties, Tambo and Nicholson rivers. The McMillan Straits off Paynesville and Lake Victoria are just around the corner. All these water bodies are suited to cruising, sailing, fishing and water skiing or just watching the many moods of the lake form your waterfront campsite. You can water ski, sail, fish or swim from directly in front of the park. The distant shore is 8 kilometres away and the lake is 6 kilometres wide

Other facilities include a private boat ramp, two jetties, wood fires, gas BBQ's, ensuite cabins, grass sites, clean amenities, undercover solar heated swimming pool, recreation room, petrol, milk bar and laundry.

The park lies 10 km from Bairnsdale, off the Paynesville Road, within 5 minutes drive to Paynesville for local shopping and the ferry to Raymond Island's bushland, one of the states best Koala reserves, as well as easy motoring to the Buchan Caves and other scenic areas around the lakes.

Eagle Point has it's own bushland kangaroo reserve, open to visitors and full of birds and native wildlife. The park is the perfect spot for a quiet weekend break, or an extended exploratory holiday, and we welcome family and social groups.

We are on the Howitt Bicycle Trail and the area has bike friendly roads. More challenging mountain bike tracks are within easy reach.

We offer private moorings and boat ramp facilities, boat storage, as well as caravan and en-suite cabin hire, powered and un powered sites for your caravan or tent and there are open fire drums throughout the park . Dogs and Pets are allowed at all times on a leash but are not allowed in the hire cabins or caravans.

There is a shop for incidentals, fuel for the car and boat, LPG for gas bottles, a solar heated swimming pool, a TV / games room for adults & children, and a children's playground.

EFTPOS and wireless internet available on-site.

Wireless internet is also available from boats 300 meters out onto Lake King or from Bay Road near our entrance.

Dog / pet friendly

Parking is complimentary and is provided onsite in front of your cabins. However, Car parking changes due to the high volume of boats that come through so ask us on arrival. One car place per site or cabin. Additional parking must be discussed on arrival.

Check-in is between 2pm and 6pm with guests able to Check-out from 10-11am. Go directly to the Shop / Office.

*All are welcome providing they are introduced to staff* Guest parking is outside the park.

CABINS: 2 persons are included in price with a maximum of 5 guests permitted in each cabin. Guests charges are for each additional person per night. Extra charges for children commence at 5 year and above.

Fish, Ski, and Sail the lake system located on the door step of the Lake King Waterfront Caravan Park. Other activitis within the area include, wine tours and wineries, track and trail walks, Boating, 4x4 tracks, Golf Courses, visit National Parks and reserves, kayaking, waterskiing and local parks and gardens. Or just sit back and relax.

From Bairnsdale, Victoria on the Princess Highway, head south for Paynesville, 10 k along or 5km before Paynesville turn left onto Forge Creek Road which becomes School Rd and head into Eagle Point. At end of School Road when you are facing Lake King turn right onto Bay Road and travel 500 metres around the bend until you reach Lake King Waterfront Caravan Park. We have a high wooden fence. When coming from Paynesville at the cross road of the Paynsville Bairnsdale Road and Grand View Road head for the lake, North East, go ______EASY______down the hill and turn left along Bay Road till you find the high wooden fence.

3rd and last option, if you find yourself near the Bairnsdale Golf Course travel along Eagle Point Road, turn left onto School Rd, left onto Bay Rd.
