The High Country Motel is situated on a scenic 4.4 acres of gardens and bushland with native birds and animals. There is no main street noise, yet it is within walking distance to a major supermarket.

There are 40 ground-floor units of which 19 are family rooms that can accommodate up to 9 guests. Each unit is equipped with ensuite, television, refrigerator, clock radio, tea & coffee making facilities, electric blankets and have reverse cycle air conditioning.

Our spacious, open lounge overlooks the pool and the adjacent hillside, guests can enjoy, in comfort, the lovely log fire and the beautiful view or have a game of pool and a drink from the bar.

Our restaurant has magnificent views over Cooma and surrounding countryside. Meals including breakfast are orchestrated by our enthusiastic professional team.

Rates are based on 2 people. Extra guests are $20 per person per night.

Sking in the Winter. Outside the winter season activities in the area include bush walking, horse riding, water activities, fishing, and scenic drives.

The motel is located in Chapman Street. If coming from Canberra or the coast take the second street on the left after the Woolworths and Rivers Clearance Store in Sharp Street.
