The Glider City Motel boasts spacious rooms, modern facilities and dedication to detail. Ideally placed ensuring a quiet stay, we are just 700 metres from the edge of the town centre, an easy stroll to all that Benalla has to offer.

We are Benalla's newest motel, boasting modern, clean, spacious rooms, as well as wireless high speed internet access. HD wide screen TVs available to several rooms also.

We have 13 ground floor units with room to door parking.

Breakfast served from 7am to 8:30am seven days to your room. Choose a traditional hot breakfast with all the trimmings or, for something lighter, a continental one. Morning newspapers are also available upon request.

We can cater to your evening meal needs with several restaurants that deliver directly to your room should you choose to stay in, or alternatively, we will supply utensils for you to cook your own BBQ at our grassy picnic area.

Our secluded pool area is private for a swim, a sun bake, or simply sitting around relaxing under the shade of an umbrella.

A 20 minute walk could incorporate the bowling club, lawn tennis courts, walk trails around the lake, the Art Gallery, Benalla's famous rose gardens incorporating the Sir Edward 'Weary' Dunlop memorial, shopping centre, cafes, restaurants, museum and Aquatic Centre.

Benalla is the Gliding Centre of Victoria and the airport and Gliding Club is directly across the road from us.

A 5-10 minute drive will have you at the golf club (who also offer a courtesty bus/taxi), Winton Motor Raceway or the Benalla Race Club.

40 minutes away is the Murray River, many wineries as well as various sections of the Ned Kelly Trail, around Whitfield, Mansfield etc.

We are also the gateway to the Victorian snowfields.

So base yourself here in Benalla and you will have a diverse choice of activities to get you out and about.
