Surrounded by budding fruit trees and inspired by nature the cottage is hexagon in shape, made from recycled and sustainable materials with strawbale walls. The pillowtop king size bed is located in a spacious loft, under a generous skylight - perfect for night time star gazing.

Cancellation 30 days or less prior to your stay will incur a 20% loss of payment. Cancellation 14 days or less prior to stay will incur loss of full payment. A cancellation fee of $50 will occur in all other cases. Travel insurance is recommended.

Click here for map to Forrest Strawbale Cottage From Geelong, continue along the Princes Highway (M1) through Geelong and continue on this highway until you come to the Cape Otway Road turnoff (the C135), about 5 minutes past Waurn Ponds. Turn left into the Cape Otway Road or C119 and continue for about 25 minutes. The Cape Otway Road turns into Forrest Road, Forrest Road turns into Grant Street, which is the main street of Forrest. Travelling from Geelong along Grant street turn left into Frizon street. Then take the first road on your left (Sanderson Lane). Follow Sanderson Lane until you see the Strawbale Cottage. From Colac follow the Princes Highway (A1) towards Geelong. 20 minutes out of Colac turn right into the Colac Forrest Road (C154). This will bring you to the main street of Forrest. Turn right, this is Grant Street. Travelling from Geelong along Grant street turn left into Frizon street. Then take the first road on your left (Sanderson Lane). Follow Sanderson Lane until you see the Strawbale Cottage. From the Great Ocean Road From Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road take the Forrest/Apollo Bay Road (C119) . Follow this road to Forrest which will bring you into the main street which is Grant Street. Travelling from Geelong along Grant street turn left into Frizon street. Then take the first road on your left (Sanderson Lane). Follow Sanderson Lane until you see the Strawbale Cottage.
