Property Description

Ford Hose Retreat is set in five exquisite acres in Bridgetown, the centre of south western WA. Up to eighteen guests enjoy luxurious accommodation and five acres of garden by the Blackwood River. Historic Ford House has large rooms, French doors and high ceilings at an affordable price. Winner of the best B & B in WA in 2001, runner up in 2002 & 2004. Affectionate geese, country garden. Other luxury rooms with ensuites, spas, reverse cycle airconditioning, sublime luxury. Also have historic rooms in Ford House, including one with a larger than king sized four poster bed, and a fire in the room as well as an ensuite.

Every bedroom is unique. Some have spas, others have antique king sized four poster beds, others are steeped in history. All guests enjoy comfortable beds, fresh flowers, original artworks, an extensive library, warm fires, friendly company and delicious meals. All food served, from delectable cakes, savoury dinners, sauces and jams are all made on the property. Their garden is extensive, including an island.

Hosts, Ken and Jenny Rotman, conceive many unique romantic interludes , birthdays and conferences for their guests, as well as many mystical elopements and many other special weekends for their guests, just some of the everlasting memories created, by appointment at Ford House.

Check in after 2.00pm, and before 9.00pm. When you arrive, come to the two story timber building where you will be escorted to your room.

Children and Extra Guests Details

We have two rooms in which we can have a queen and single in the same room. Our property is suitable for children over the age of 12 (river hazard)

Travel Directions

From Perth, travel south through Bunbury, Donnybrook to Bridgetown (248km). From the centre of Bridgetown, travel about 1km south of the town, over the small railway rail and turn next right onto Edle Terrace, 100m to Ford House
