Fern Cottage is a charming, refurbished 1930's Queenslander home located in trendy Paddington/Rosalie, a mecca for fashion, dining and art, only two and half km from the centre of Brisbane city.

Numerous sidewalk cafe's, alfresco dining, boutiques, antique/curio shops and art galleries are all within walking distance. At Fern Cottage you can enjoy all the comforts of home, in this garden oasis with 3 beautifully decorated air-conditioned ensuite rooms.

A fresh tropical breakfast with a large range of cereals and breads along with fresh Greek yoghurt and freshly sliced local fruits starts your day.

Guests are welcome to access the BBQ and rear tabled area for meals.

Wireless internet connection and guests desk in office, as well as access to fax and phone on request.

Ample on-street parking.

Procedures are flexible depending on arrival time of other guests. Luggage can be stored for if guests are arriving early or need to leave late.

All rates are per room for up to two (2) adults.

One extra guest (room total maximum occupancy is three people) can be accommodated in the 'Orange room', in a single bed and in second room on a roll-away bed, at an additional $40 per night.

We are centrally located and a short stroll to the Rosalie precinct where there are a number of wonderful eateries.

Public transport to the City is close by and the whole area has a village atmosphere.

We provide a "home away from home" experience and you are welcome to sit in out beautiful green leafy garden in the shade of the gazebo to enjoy the atmosphere.

If you are arriving at the airport, the options are to get a taxi for about $AUD40-45 or the train for $AUD12 each to the transit centre and then approximately $AUD10 for a taxi to Fern Cottage. Out of peak times we are 20 minutes from the airport and about 10 minutes from the train.
