Emmas Cottage vineyard is located in Lovedale ¿the heart of the Hunter Valley¿. We are surrounded by outstanding boutique vineyards and restaurants a stone¿s throw from your Hunter Valley accommodation.

Emmas Cottage Vineyard has1 x 4 bedroom sel contained cottage, 1 x 3 bedroom self contained cottage, 2 x 2 bedroom self contained cottages.

Bed linen and bath towels are provided.

There is a fantastic swimming pool available for guests usage on those hot summer days, perfect for a relaxing cool-down after a day of exploring, or the perfect way to start the day.

The property itself is 30 acres of fabulous country with approximately 5 acres of almost level grass, combined with rose gardens edging a walking path, complete with rotunda and country dam. Chickens, geese guinea fowl, ducks, Cockatoos, corellas, parrots and many more birds abound and add that real country feel, yet you are only a bird¿s call from all the Hunter has to offer!!.

Most of all you will notice the peace and quiet of the Lovedale area, you instantly slow down from your busy schedule and start to "smell the roses"!! peace and quiet - ahhhhh!!

Emma's Cottage Vineyard produces a comprehensive range of hand crafted, premium, boutique wines, which are available only from the cellar door, which is open from 10am to 5pm (closed Monday & Tuesday). So you should never be short of a good wine and you don't even have to leave the property to get it!!. The cottages also contain original artworks from resident artist Megan Barrass, they add colour and life and happiness! There is a bright and colourful art gallery located in the cellar door.

Tilly¿s Gourmet pizza café is located on site and offers the best Hunter Valley gourmet pizza available. Also available are espresso coffee, fresh, healthy juices (juiced while you wait), gourmet ice cream and snacks.

All available, as dine in or takeaway. You don¿t have to drive to go out!!!.

The 4 bedroom house has a really spacious, calm and peaceful feel. Located adjacent to our vineyard and swimming pool, this comfortable two storey, 4 bedroom Hunter Valley accommodation house is excellent for 8 guests. The house has easy, level access and parking and extensive rose gardens. The 4 bedroom house has it¿s own BBQ and outdoor setting under the wrap around veranda, four Queen bedrooms ( the 2 upstairs are huge), 2 bathrooms with showers and vanities (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs), fully equipped modern kitchen with oven, microwave and cooktop, generous living/dining areas, fully air conditioned, large flat screen television, CD and DVD player, second TV with DVD and stereo in upstairs bedroom.

EMMA's COTTAGE VINEYARD is located in the Lovedale region, the heart of the famous Hunter Valley, only 2 hours drive from Sydney, Australia.

How to find us

From the South.

Join the F3 and head North towards Newcastle. You will find a McDonalds rest stop approximately 30 minutes into the journey. Your turn off to Cessnock and the Hunter Valley is 30km from McDonalds.

Follow the signs to Cessnock and Branxton. As you leave Cessnock you turn onto Wine Country Drive (sometimes known as Branxton Rd or Allandale Rd) heading North towards Branxton. After 5 kms you will pass Cessnock airport and the Visitor information centre (worth a stop to gather reference material for your stay) on your left. Keep traveling North along Wine Country Drive for another 7km, turning right into Wilderness Rd. Emma¿s Cottage Vineyard is 1.4km on your left.

From the North

Turn off the new England Highway at Branxton, heading South for Cessnock. You will be on Wine Country drive (sometimes known as Branxton Rd). Follow this road from Branxton for 7kms then turn left into Wilderness Rd. Emma¿s Cottage Vineyard is 1.4km on your left.
