Built as a miner's pub in 1857, Emeu Inn has been fully restored and refurbished to provide six luxury B&B suites (mosts with spabaths) and one two-room, self-catering Cottage. You'll find all the mod-cons gourmet travellers expect.
The B&B tariff includes a continental breakfast with preserved fruit and homemade jams, homemade bread and plunger coffee. Afternoon tea, port and nibbles are found in the lounge, and you have your own TV/DVD player, sitting area and ensuite. Open fires are in some suites and in the Restaurant.
Emeu Inn has a Restaurant exclusively for guests. Enjoy our international cuisine with a local bottle of wine.

Wireless internet access is available. Tables are available in most suites where you can do your work.
Emeu Inn has car parking on the main road and has a private car park at the rear of the property.

The Brady Suite and Cottage each have a double sofa bed. A rollaway bed is available to place in the Heidi Suite. An extra person, adult or child, is $40 per night. This tariff includes continental breakfast.
Heathcote is Shiraz country! If you enjoy red wine, in particular, stop by the local Cellar Doors. We have a great Golf Course in town, lots of walks through the State & National forests and many interesting shops in the main street.
Heathcote is an interesting gold rush survivor with a diverse streetscape including several important historic buildings.
Visit the local galleries and do some shopping for local crafts and produce.
Heathcote's famous Pink Cliffs are miniature gorges which are quite close to town.
Mount Ida gives wonderful views over the forest, vineyards and Lake Eppalock. A 30 minutes drive to the famous town of Bendigo which is one of the first gold rush towns and one of the wealthiest. Why not pan for some gold!
From Melbourne, travel north on the Hume Hwy to Kilmore. Exit at Kilmore and drive another 40 minutes to Heathcote. Emeu Inn is through town on the left side. About 90 minutes from Melbourne. Alternatively, take the Tullamarine Freeway past the airport. Continue toward Sunbury. Just before Sunbury, turn right at the roundabout and travel through Romsey and Lancefield. Continue to the Northern Highway. Turn left into the Northern Hwy and head north to Heathcote, about 15 minutes. Emeu Inn is at the north end of town on the left adjacent to the Heathcote Winery.

The tariff includes afternoon tea, continental breakfast each day.
