The Huon Valley, just a short drive south of Hobart. Situated in the Centre of Franklin close to Restaurants.

It is a place to escape away from home and take the family.

This 1920's self contained house is fully equipped with recycled air-conditioning, laundry facilities for washing. Bathroom: hair dryer , towels & linen, separate toilet. Kitchen: Fridge, full stove, frypan and whitegoods. The lounge room has TV, video and CD player. There is no need to bring anything to Cottage on Main; it is all there for you.

A Franklin Forshore Park is opposite the cottage is ideal for the children watch the swans & ducks float by.

Just park the car & enjoy this loverly town called Franklin the gateway to the South.

We are right on the tourist route to the southern most part of Tasmania, Cockle Creek, you are now at the end of Tasmania, you cannot drive any further, you may even see the Antartica?

It is a place to escape away from home and take the family. Cottage on Main offers two large bedrooms. Queen Sized beds and single bunks. There is a cot if you are travelling with a baby (no linen)

We are situated 40 minutes south of Hobart, travelling along the A6 to the HuonVille, through Huonville, 8 kilometres further on you will enter the lovely town of Franklin. Our Cottage is 200meters south of the Franklin Post Office on the right. (little blue Cottage and fence).
