Clarendon's boutique guest accommodation consists of three charming cottages in a secluded, peaceful and romantic setting. A quiet garden retreat for thos who love quality accommodation and appreciate a beautiful garden. Two acres of English country gardens and meadow nestle amongst a huge variety of beautiful century old trees. The cottages are within easy walking distance of Sassafras Village, the home of the famous Miss Marples Tearoom (best scones on the mountain) and Sherbrooke Forest where you can see the Lyrebirds wandering happily.
Three cosy 1 & 2 bedroom cottages each with it's own individual charm are located separately on the two acre property. Log fires, spas, fully equipped kitchens and private decks are just some of the many features. Generous breakfast provisions are provided - cereals, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, juices, fresh country bread, jams, plunger coffee and quality tea - for you to wake and enjoy in the privacy of your own cottage.

The owners live on site and are available from 9.00am to 9.00pm. Check in is from 2.00pm and check out 11.00am
Stables Cottage has 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed in each so can sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children
Camellia Cottage has 1 bedroom and can sleep 2 guests and a child on a fold out bed
Dovecote Cottage has 1 bedroom and can sleep no more than 2 guests. This cottage is not suitable for children.
There are many things to do in the immediate vicinity of Clarendon. Within minutes you can stroll in Sherbrooke Forest, be wandering around the lively and colourful villages of Sassafras, Olinda & Mt Dandenong or be visiting six out of the eight Great Gardens of Melbourne found in the Dandenong Ranges - National Rhododendron Gardens, Alfred Nicholas Garden, Cloudehill, Pirianda, William Ricketts Sanctuary, George Tindale Gardens.
Many antique shops house treasures right next to contemporary galleries and studios filled with craft, sculpture and decorator items created by the many artists who have made their home here. Great restaurants, cafes and tearooms abound suiting a wide range of palates and pockets.
If you are looking for a little more action there are wonderful walking trails for you to explore in the National Park or perhaps challenge your fitness with a hike up the 1000 Kokoda steps at the foot of the mountain. Puffing Billy is just 15 minutes away.

Camellia Cottage is a cosy, one bedroom cottage, self contained and completely private. On the upper level there is an open log fire adjacent to the queen size sleigh bed, two large armchairs and TV/DVD/CD/Radio. There is a bathroom with a spa bath. Down a few stairs there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and private external deck. A romantic little haven!

Dovecote Cottage is a beautiful two-storey 'petite suite' that can sleep two guests. The ground floor lounge/dining area overlooks a pretty rose garden. The upstairs double bedroom, with windows on three sides sits cosily amongst the trees. The double bedroom and bathroom are reached by Dovecote's private internal staircase. Includes TV/DVD/CD/Radio. This cottage has a small fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle but does not have a kitchen. There is a bath but no spa bath.

The Stables Cottage is a luxury cottage with either one or two bedrooms available for your exclusive use. It is self contained and totally private with a gas log fire, fully equipped kitchen, cosy lounge/dining room and beautifully appointed bathroom with double corner spa and separate walk in shower. TV/DVD/CD/Radio are included. There is a large external deck. Full breakfast provisions are provided for each mornings stay
