On our website www.castleonhill.com, you will find a map on how to get to us from Mt Warning turnoff. Here is some more information.
*From Gold Coast airport turn right to go on the Pacific Highway south. You will pass Coolangatta, Tweed Heads, and Chinderah .
There will be a sign on your left for Tweed Valley Way.-Murwillumbah. Take that left hand exit and follow it all the way to Murwillumbah.
From Murwillumbah
*Once you cross the bridge entering Murwillumbah township, just follow the road up the hill.
When you pass Knox Park on your left, 2 streets later you will see a sign to Kyogle, Mt Warning, Uki etc on Riverview street. Take that left hand turn.
*Follow the road all the way to Mt Warning turn off. DO NOT TURN OFF. STAY ON RIVERVIEW STREET. (also known as Kyogle Road)
*The road will widen for Glenoch Subdivision. It will narrow again and then widen again for Braeside Drive. Turn left up Braeside Drive.
*Second turning on the right is Bonny Doon Road. Go up this road until you see our sign next to a steep cliff face.
*Turn right and immediate right again to drive pass the wooden house to the main stone house- the Castle on the Hill.
From the south
From Pacific Highway, take Cabarita (Clothier Creek Road) or Chinderah exit, heading for Murwillumbah. Just follow the signs.
It will take you to the old Pacific Highway. Turn left to head for Murwillumbah.
Follow the sign to Murwillumbah, then proceed with the above directions.

The Earl's chamber is an ensuite with views of the mist rising over rolling hills in the morning, the indoor garden and the forests from its windows. It is air-conditioned and has tea/coffee making facilities. The decoration is Renaissance style with strong colours and lavish fabrics. There is a TV/DVD and sound system with CDs for your enjoyment.
For breakfast we serve a big platter of fresh fruit and cereals. bacon, organic free range eggs, sausages and tomatoes, local award winning rainforest coffee, as well as our local Madura tea.
Included in the rate are complimentary wine and nibble in the Italian Courtyard on the day of your arrival to watch the sunset over Mt Warning. The Courtyard will be dressed up and lit with torches. This is our way of welcoming you to the Castle.
