Situated only meters to the magnificent golden sands of Mission Beach, from which you can view Dunk Island, and backing onto natural untouched wet tropical rainforest, these 6 individual and luxurious self contained Mission Beach cottages are nestled under a canopy of rainforest trees, while enjoying the cool breezes from the Coral Sea.

The Mission Beach family friendly accommodation of Cassawong Cottages consists of 4 very individual, self contained family cottages, plus 2 couples retreat bungalows.

The family cottages have 2 air conditioned bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and laundry, plus many other features. These cottages are especially welcoming to children.

Our couples retreat bungalows are innovative and exciting with separate king size bedroom looking out to the rainforest and a double spa with rainforest views as well. They are set aside with their own personal relaxation areas and private garden making them ideal for a couples getaway.

From Cairns:

When you leave Cairns head South on the Bruce Highway and follow the signs to Innisfail. Pass through Innisfail and follow the signs to Tully. About 26 klm from Tully is the little hamlet of El Arish this is where you turn LEFT to the coast.

Follow the Mission Beach signs and stay on this road until you pass the hardware store on your right. 100m past you will see a main intersection to the right signposted to Wongaling Beach, turn here and travel past Woolworths shopping Center and next turn on your left into Webb Street with the police station on the corner. Turn left and follow to the end.

Reid Road is the turnoff at the junction to the right. We are 1.5 km down on the right hand side. We have distinctive red and gold Balinese flags out the front.

From Townsville:

Follow the signs North from Townsville to Ingham on the Bruce Highway passing through Ingham, Cardwell and Tully. 1½ km North of Tully follow the Mission Beach signs and stay on this road.

You will pass a road on the right saying South Mission Beach, ignore this and the next road on the right is Webb Road with the police station on the corner.

Turn right into Webb Street and proceed to the end of the road. Reid Road is the turnoff at the junction to the right. We are 1.5 km down on the right hand side and we have distinctive red and gold Balinese flags out the front.
