Built in 1859, Cape Schanck light station offers a unique accommodation experience as guests stay in the original lighthouse keeper's cottages. Situated in a Heritage listed maritime precinct and surrounded by National Park, guests are transformed back in time as they become the lighthouse keepers during there stay. Let the sound of the ocean lull you to sleep. Lighthouse Tours available inside an operational lighthouse & access to a maritime museum.
Cancellation Policy
An administration fee of 13% applies if the booking is cancelled prior to 30 days from arrival. If the booking is cancelled within 14 days and 30 days prior to arrival 50% refund is applicable. No refund for a cancellation 14 days prior to arrival. A change of date is regarded as a cancellation of the original booking EVENTS SHOWS & TOURS - no refund on paid bookings.
Travel Directions
Go to the end of the Mornington Peninsula Freeway and turn left into Boneo Road. Continue along Boneo Road until you come to Cape Schanck Road which is on the right. At the end of the Cape Schanck Road is the entrance to the National Park.

Suitable for a couple, for a Romantic getaway. Equiped with a Queen size bed and Ensuite. Built in 1859 and renovated in 2002. Towels and Linen provided. Room was initially set up for the Inspector of Lighthouses. A microwave oven, kettle, toaster and small fridge are provided for the guests convenience. BBQ availiable.
