Swimming, surfing, snorkelling,fishing, golf, tennis, bowls. Lovely walks along the Esplanade. Turtle watching in season November - March. Day trips to Lady Musgrave Island on the great Barrier reef. Also day and overnight flights to Lady Elliot Island on the Great Barrier reef. These can be booked at reception. Offshore charter fishing tours are available, tinnies are also available for hire. Bundaberg Rum tours can also be booked from reception.

As you come into Bundaberg follows directions for Bargara. This bring you onto the Bundaberg - Bargara Road as you trvel out of Bundaberg towards the coast. Follow this road through the canefeilds and farms to Bargara approx 15 - 20 mins from Bundaberg CBD. As you come into Bargara you will be on Bauer Street. Follow this till you come to an intersection 1 block from the Esplanade, you will see the Bargara Beach Hotel and the tourist clock. Turn left into See St and travel over the first intersection.
