Blisshouse Carlyle and Massinger Spa & Sanctuary are three bedroom homes situated within minutes walk to town and Clarkes Beach. Three of the properties (excluding Carlyle) come complete with private on-site Pure Bliss Day Spas available exclusively to Blisshouse guests where a range of luxurious treatments are lavished on you by some of Byron's most qualified therapists. All three properties feature a hot tub and sauna.

Each luxurious guesthouse is a sanctuary you are not obliged to share with anyone other than yourselves. Perfect for romantic escapes, intimate weddings, small group holidays, family holidays and corporate and executive retreats.

Please note: There is a security bond of $1000 for the Byron Blisshouses. We hold this bond against your credit card as a security and only process the amount if there is any damage to the property on your departure.

Parking is available at each of the Byron Blisshouse properties (not under cover).

Check In Instructions

Check in time is 2.00pm or later by arrangement and check out time is 10.00am. A Blisshouse Property Coordinator will meet you on site at the prearranged time for orientation of the property. Please note there is no on-site staff at any of the Blisshouse portfolio of properties. We therefore require your travel arrival plans by email as soon as possible so that our property co-ordinators can organise to meet you on site when you arrive (from 2pm onwards). Please note that if you are late, this does result in inconvenience and additional cost. Please assist us by arriving at the agreed time and giving us sufficient notice of any change of arrival plans. Our property co-ordinators will telephone you nearer to your arrival date to double check booking details.

The premises must be vacated by 10am sharp on the date of departure. No exceptions can be granted or an extra tariff will be charged unless prior arrangement has been made with management. Should you wish to extend check in and check out times please request upon making your reservation. A day rate for a 5pm check-out is available at 50% of the room rate, given availability.

Children and Extra Guests Details

The number of guests stated on your booking form indicates the agreed number of guests your tariff covers. Additional visitors staying overnight may incur an additional charge. The guest whose name appears on the credit card is responsible for any damage, breakages and/or missing items caused by themselves or additional guests and visitors during the period booked.

No parties or functions are to be held on the premises (inside or outside) unless prior written approval has been obtained from the Manager and a fee is payable for functions.

Children should be supervised at all times at each of the properties. There are ponds in the gardens and spa areas and marine wire fencing around balconies and verandahs for example.

The Pure Bliss Day Spa Menu offers a wide choice of health and beauty treatments. Each Blisshouse property is complete with private on-site day spa or treatment rooms, available exclusively to Blisshouse guests, except Blisshouse Carlyle where treatments can be arranged in your favourite indoor or outdoor location on the property.

A range of off-site activities can be arranged in Byron Bay or surrounding regions.

Travel Directions

Directions to Blisshouse Penthouse and Garden Villa by road

If approaching Byron Bay from the Pacific Highway, take the Byron Bay exit along Ewingsdale Rd; turn left at Kendall St noting the sign 'Belongil Beach House / Sastori Beach Café' (you've gone too far if you find yourself in Byron Bay town itself). Cross the railway tracks - Blisshouse is just past the Satori Beach Cafe on the left No. 23 Childe St, corner of Giaour St.

If approaching Belongil from Byron Bay town, head out of town over the other set of railway tracks, past the Police station along Ewingsdale Rd, turn right at Kendall St noting sign 'Belongil Beach House / Cicada Beach Cafe' (just after Neumanns Garage on your left) and cross the railway track - Blisshouse is just past the Cicada Beach Cafe on the left - No 23 Childe St, corner of Giaour St.

Directions to Blisshouse Massinger by road

If approaching Byron Bay from Pacific Highway take the Byron Bay exit from the Pacific Highway which takes you along Ewingsdale Road (the main road into Byron) ¿ cross the railway tracks and go straight through the main roundabout in town along Lawson Street, then turn right into Massinger Street. Blisshouse Massinger is No. 79 and is just at the end of Kingsley Street.

Directions to Blisshouse Carlyle by road

If approaching Byron Bay from Pacific Highway take the Byron Bay exit from the Pacific Highway which takes you along Ewingsdale Road (the main road into Byron) cross the railway tracks and go straight through the main roundabout in town along Lawson Street, then turn right into Massinger Street. Carlyle St is the second street on the right (there is also a small lane). Blisshouse Carlyle is No. 63 and is just next door to the General Store on the corner on the right hand side.
