Bright Chalet offers guests the option of catered motel style accommodation right in the heart of the Victorian Alpine High Country. Along with top class accommodation our facilities include swimming pool, spa, bike hire, restaurant and mini coach.
Located on the Great Alpine Road in spectacular Bright, the Bright Chalet is the ideal base from which to explore the unique valleys and mountains of North East Victoria, or to simply have a break whilst touring through the region .
We have accommodation to suit families, groups, couples or the individual traveler, and can offer packages of room only, or for a fully or part catered stay.
Our mini bus can take groups of up to 12 for a stress-free tour of the wineries of the region or take you up to the ski resorts for that visit to the snow.
We are an ideal venue for weddings, Probus clubs, travel clubs and conferences, sporting clubs and those wishing to stay off-mountain so that they can make the destination choices for the next days skiing or high country walking.
We pride ourselves in our service to our guests to ensure that they have the best visitor experience possible.

Things To Do
Bright is a Town for all seasons.
It offers a myriad of activities all year round, including in winter snow skiing and other snow sports. Summer, autumn and spring, offer a number of festivals and markets. There is swimming, bike riding, scenic walks, and fabulous drives in the surrounding hills, wineries, paragliding, ultra light flights and many fine restaurants.
Travel Directions
From Melbourne take the Hume Highway and turn off at the Ovens Valley Highway (Great Alpine Road) at Wangaratta. Continue through into Bright for 1.5 Km. Bright Chalet is the large two story building on the left hand side.

Rooms are comfortably appointed with reverse cycle air conditioning, ensuite, colour TV, Tea and Coffee making facilities. All rooms have a balcony and are supplied with electric blankets for the winter. We have rooms with single, king size, queen size and double beds.
