We are situated in a quiet part of town 500 meters south of the Hervey Bay Boat Club & Marina at Urangan and only minutes from the Fraser Coast Airport.
The restaurants are at the Hervey Bay Marina & the famous Hervey Bay Boat Club just 10 minutes walk away.
A popular beach plus fishing spot [the rock wall] are right over the road.
Boat Harbour Resort has 16 well appointed beachfront studio Motel units; 5 x 2 bedroom roomy family bungalows; 2 x 3 bedroom townhouses in Seashells alongside Boat Harbour Resort. The main lodge and bungalows were built of Fraser Island hardwood in 1996, the whole area has a warm friendly feeling with a little "old world charm", that today's modern buildings can not hope to match. Management reserves the right to refuse any booking due to unsuitability [not meeting min stays]or unavailability. Any refunds incurr a small admin fee of $3.50 to cover bank charges and costs even when the cancellation is within the allowed time frame.

Car Parking Details
Each Deluxe Studio Motel unit has an allocated undercover car park. Off street parking for all accommodation types. plus additional parking available for boats, trailers etc. Seashells has remote access garages for up to 2 vehicles.
Our OFFICE HOURS are between 8.30 am & 6.00 pm. reception closes at 6.00 pm. If you will be arriving after this time, or if you are running late, please contact our office for late check-in instructions & room key access.

Children and Extra Guests Details
Studio room type tariff is per single/couple in queen bed:- Children / extra guests $11 per night;.
Bungalows sleep 4 to 5 & Townhouses at Seashells sleep up to 6 guests.
We have bungalows and some ground floor studios that are pet friendly. ie One small dog or cat.* Please let us know ahead of time if you require such a unit.
* Please note:- a non refundable pet bond is payable on arrival.
Things To Do
Hervey Bay is the Whale Watching capital of the world and the whales take up residence in the calm clear waters of Hervey Bay from July to November each year.
The Resort overlooks World Heritage Listed Fraser Island across the Great Sandy Straits. A wide variety of tours can be booked at reception & depart daily from the gate.
Dolphin watch tours operate out of whale season and fishing charters are available all year round.
For your convenience the office has full Tour booking facilities for Whale Watch Boats, Fraser Island and Lady Elliot Island.
Travel Directions
The Boat Harbour & Seashells Resort is located 600m from the marina & the Famous Hervey Bay Boat Club. Stay on Boat Harbour Drive as you enter town and continue for approx 9Klms until you reach the Urangan Shopping Centre Woolworths, continue thru roundabout (do not turn left ) and drive until you reach a STOP SIGN & see the water turn right and the resort is located 100m on your right.

Nearest town: Maryborough - 20 minutes
Nearest airport: Hervey Bay - 5 minutes
Nearest train: Maryborough - 20 minutes (bus link to Hervey Bay) Hervey Bay Limousine Service offers a very good service to and from Centro for just $12 up to 4 persons 9.00am - 5.00pm.
Hervey Bay Airport Shuttle meets every flight.
