We have the perfect Thongs & Sarongs, getaway.. and leave the city behind. We can cater your every need & located just approx 90mins N of Sydney CBD & 20 min S of Newcastle CBD on beautiful Lake Macquarie.

Come & enjoy the village atmosphere of Blacksmiths, meet the locals at the pubs. Walk to the beach for a surf or down to the lake for a swim, snorkel, dive or jet boat, ride bikes, watch sport on Foxtel , see a beautiful sunset while having a drink on the deck or book one of our many tours & excursions.

You can do as much or as little as you want......

Blacksmiths Beach House is the perfect choice for all school, sporting & business groups, with Newcastle facilities nearby for ten pin bowling, ice skating, basketball, soccer, tennis, hockey, rugby league, swimming, surfing, diving and netball.

Groups stay together in dormitory style rooms with Managers & Staff having 2 ensuite rooms. (other accommodation close by for parents or trainers)

Your stay with us will enhance your groups performance and their early morning training or boot camp sessions on the beach, will be a joy.

Located in Blacksmiths CBD, with Post Office, grocery store, bakery, pub and other variety shops, on the Pacific Hwy bus route makes it convenient for everyone.

By Bus:

Greyhound bus Brisbane - Sydney- Via Pacific Highway - Code GX420 or GX422- will drop off at Belmont

Greyhound bus Sydney - Brisbane - Via Pacific Highway - Code MC241 or GX243 - will drop off at Belmont

Buses have several different routes to Newcastle. The Bus you need, will make stops Belmont. Collection from this stops can be arranged on booking your accommodation.

If arrive at Newcastle Station, a second bus #350 will bring you to Blacksmiths.

By Road:

If you are approaching Blacksmiths Beach House from the south, the F3 freeway from Sydney will have you arriving in approx 90 minutes. Take the East Lake Macquarie (Newcastle, Charlestown, Swansea exit 111). Over Swansea bridge turn left at traffic lights then first right into Mitti St.

Alternatively ,if you are traveling from the north, follow the Pacific Highway into Belmont then Blacksmiths, turn right at the traffic lights then first right into Mitti St.

By Rail:

Trains depart regularly. Closest stations are Cardiff or Wyee.

Collection from station can be arranged on booking your accommodation. If arrive at Newcastle Station catch bus # 350 to bring you out to Blacksmiths.
