Azjure has been set up with high quality equipment and furnishings to accommodate just one couple in each studio. Thus the property is unsuitable for children.

Because of the constant presence of native wildlife at Azjure, the property is not suitable for family pets.

WINERIES

Whether you're a wine connoisseur or new to wine, azjure is the ideal base for the perfect Granite Belt Wine Country experience. Whether you prefer crisp whites, full-bodied reds, or luscious, fruity sweet wines, you'll find it all around azjure. And the great thing about the Granite Belt Wine Country is that the grapes are grown and the wine made by the same people you'll meet at the cellar door.

Located in the heart of Ballandean, the Granite Belt's main vineyard area, azjure is literally surrounded by wonderful award-winning wineries for you to explore. The following wineries are right on Sundown Road, the same as azjure. You can even walk to them if you want!

NATIONAL PARKS

azjure is the perfect base to explore some of the most incredible National Parks in Australia. The rock formations have to be seen to be believed!

Sundown National Park is at the end of Sundown Road (which azjure is also located on), while Girraween National Park is only 5 minutes drive away. Bald Rock National Park is a little further over the NSW border.

As the day begins, gaze out over kangaroos and deer grazing in front of your spa studio. Wrap yourself in azjure¿s complimentary bathrobe, lounge around on your patio, bask in the morning sun while sipping a superb espresso or cappucino made with freshly ground beans and take in the glorious 180 degree panoramic views of the verdant Ballandean valley and natural bushland.

Ballandean is a charming village located about 2.5 hours south-west of Brisbane and 10 minutes south of Stanthorpe on the New England Highway.

Driving South from Brisbane

Head west towards Ipswich, taking the Cunningham Highway turnoff just before Ipswich. Stay on the Cunningham Highway to Warwick, then follow the signs to Stanthorpe/Sydney. Just before Stanthorpe take the bypass, staying on the New England Highway, until you reach Ballandean. Turn right into Curr Road by the Ballandean Soccer Field then turn left at Sundown Road. Stay on Sundown Road for about one minute till you reach the entry to azjure on the left. Turn left off Sundown Road into the driveway and travel up the gentle hill for about 800 metres till you reach azjure. When you stop, be sure to turn around and look back over the beautiful view - it makes even the longest trip worthwhile!

Driving North from Sydney

Head north on the New England Highway, past Tamworth, Glenn Innes and Tenterfield. Stay on the New England Highway until you reach Ballandean (approx. 20 mins north of Tenterfield). Turn left into Curr Road at the Ballandean Soccer Field then turn left at Sundown Road. Stay on Sundown Road for about one minute till you reach the entry to azjure on the left. Turn left off Sundown Road into the driveway and travel up the gentle hill for about 800 metres till you reach azjure. When you stop, be sure to turn around and look back over the beautiful view - it makes even the longest trip worthwhile!
