Property Description

Comfortable 3 bedroom cottage on 50 acre sheep farm accommodating up to 7 guests. Two queen, one double and one single bed. Very well equipped kitchen. Enjoy breakfast and evening drinks on the wide verandah overlooking the property and valley. Walk down to the creek and enjoy a picnic and drinks. Pat Kevin, the pet sheep, collect the eggs and feed the chooks , watch the geese , catch yabbies in the dams and play bocce (bowls).

The cottage is located only 7ks from Lake Eppalock and close to the vineyards of Axedale, Redsdale and Heathcote. Bendigo is 20 minutes away. For golfers, the picturesque 18 hole Axedale Golf Course is only 3ks away. Special deals are available on green fees.

Bring your mountain bikes and ride along the O'Keefe Rail Trail from Axedale to Bendigo.

Or just come and completey relax on a very private and picturesque farm. We are breeding dorper sheep which are meat sheep and generally there will be lambs for the kids to watch.

Sorry, no pets and motor bikes.

We proivide breakfast provisions for the first day.

Check in is from 1.00pm or as otherwsie arranged. Check-out is by 12.00.

Tariff is $160 per night for 2 adults. Children $15 each per night. Extra adults $30. per night. Tariff includes breakfast provisions for the first morning. Bed linen and towls are provdied.

Visit the many wineries at Axedale, Redesdale, Heathcote and Bendigo. We are located half way between Heathcote and Bendigo.

Teh kids will love the farm animals and the open spaces.

From Melbourne, take the Hume Highway and turn off to Kilmore. Take the Northern Highway to Heathcote and continue towards Bendigo. At Axedale, turn left at the Police station, go 3ks and then turn right into Canny Road. Go 1.3ks. The property is on the left. There is a sign on the gate with 310. The cottage is about 400m through the gate. Allow b/n 90 to 120 mins from Meblourne.
